A fast overview of open chain reactions of Glucose

Guys...!! Looking out for something important to learn within no time..?? Here is a fast over-view of open chain reactions of Glucose which can be grasped quickly...!!

     1.     Reaction of glucose with phenylhydrazine
In the above reaction is with the given reagent first two carbons get –NHPh
     2.     Reaction of Glucose with Bromine Water:
Bromine water is used as an oxidizing agent .
It oxidizes aldehyde group into acidic(-COOH) group.
    3. Reaction of Glucose with Hydroxyl Amine
    4.  Reaction of Glucose with Hydrogen Cyanide:
    5.Reaction of Glucose with Hydrazine:
6. Reaction of glucose with Reducing Agent HI + Red IP

HI + Red P is a strong Reducing Agent which reduces alcohol, Aldehyde, Ketone, Carboxylic acids and their derivatives in to Alkane.
