What is NIIT?

NIIT University (Or NU) is a private university founded in 2009. It is a not-for-profit institution, and is sponsored by NIIT Ltd. It is located in Neemrana Rajasthan in India. It was founded by Mr. Rajendra Singh Pawar, Chairman of NIIT Ltd and NIIT Technologies Ltd.

Eligibility Criteria:

• ≥60% marks or equivalent in Class X in five subjects (Compulsory subjects – English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The fifth can be a subject of applicant’s choice). The board can be CBSE/ICSE/any other board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India.
• ≥60% marks in Class XII in five subjects (Compulsory subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB) & English. The fifth can be a subject of applicant’s choice). The board can be any recognized board in India or an equivalent board if from a country outside India. In case you are from ISC board or have taken four subjects, aggregate of four subjects will be considered.
• ≥60% marks in PCM in Class XII if you are opting for CSE or ECE streams and in PCB, PCM or PCMB if you are choosing BT.
• Should be appearing in the board examination in March/April 2017 or should have the necessary mark sheets if you have appeared in 2015 or 2016.
• Should have JEE Main/BITSAT/SAT/Any other State Engineering Entrance Examination’s rank/score otherwise applicant will be required to appeared in the NIIT University Engineering Test (NUET)

Admission Modes:

NU offers admission for its B. Tech programme via two modes:

1. Early Admission Mode
2. Regular Admission Mode

Important Dates:

Personal Counseling Interaction (PCI)	Within 7 days of application submission
NUET	Along with the PCI, if required
Admission Offer	Within two working days of completion of PCI
Parent Interaction	Same day as PCI or based on prior appointment
Admission Acceptance by Candidate	Within 5 working days of receiving the offer letter
Submit Class XII Admit Card copy	By March 31, 2017, if applied before March 31, 2017
Intimate Class XII results	By June 6, 2017 or with the application form
Enrollment	EAD By June 6, 2017
Registration & Program Commencement	July 13 / 14, 2017

Note: University may decide to change these dates at its discretion to accommodate any unforeseen changes, such as delay in Class XII results.

Regular Admission Exam Pattern: (IF APPLICANT DO NOT HAVE VALID JEE/BITSAT SCORE).
