What is Thapar University?

The Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology University is today recognized among the leading privately managed engineering institutions of the country and the best of its kind in the north-western region of India. NAAC, an Autonomous Institution of UGC, has reaccredited Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology University and award A Grade.

The TTC with its three institutions viz, TU, TP and TCIRD, is today a unique Campus in our country with extraordinary potential for development of indigenous technology and its engineering industries.

Eligibility:

For admission to B.E./B.Tech. (Except B.Tech. - Biotechnology) programs on the basis of JEE

(Main)-2017:

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (10+2) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates will be placed provisionally in the merit list. They will not be considered for admission if they fail to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of counselling.

For admission to B.Tech - Biotechnology programme on the basis of NEET-2017:
