What is HPCET?
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University is established in the year 2010 by an Act of Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh with an objective for value creation and welfare of society through technical education training, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and continuing education programs. At the same time, the University is responsive to the changing and exceptional requirements of our society and economy and contributes to find answers to global problems.
B. Tech (Direct Entry): Passed/appeared 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
B. Pharmacy & B.
Pharm (Ayurveda): Passed/ appeared 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or Biology for B. Pharmacy and Physics, Chemistry & Biology for B. Pharmacy (Ayurveda) with 45% marks (40% for reserved category in the above subjects taken together.
