SGVU (Suresh Gyan Vihar University) is an autonomous university located
in Mahal, Jagatpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It is established by Government
of Rajasthan under Jaipur Act No. 16 of 2008, passed in state Assembly of
Rajasthan, giving it the status of “State University”. University Grant
Commission (UGC) has empowered it to award degrees through its notification no.
F.9-38/ 2008(CPP-I) dated 1 April 2009.
It is a collection of schools
including 10+2 schools, the Engineering College, the Management College, the
Hotel Management College, the Pharmacy College, the College of Postgraduate
Studies and the School of Education.

Eligibility:
Admissions to the engineering program
at Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU), for the academic session 2017-18 will
be made through GVSAT. GVSAT-2017 will come to candidates as a PC-based online
test or a conventional paper-and-pen based offline test. GVSAT-2017 will be
conducted for the following undergraduate engineering programs of SGVU:

Candidates, either appearing for 10+2
examination from a recognized board in the year 2017 or having cleared their
10+2 examination earlier, with the minimum qualifying percentage as stated
above, are eligible to appear in GVSAT-2017.
Exam Pattern:
All questions will be of objective
type (multiple choice questions); each question will have four answers to it
with only one being the correct answer. Each correct answer will fetch the
candidate 2 marks. No marks will be awarded for questions not attempted. There
is no negative marking either. There will be a total of 120 questions. The
number of questions to each part will be as follows:
