All India UG Common Entrance Test
2016 (AIUGCET 2016) shall be conducted for the admission to the various
graduate courses (Programmes) offered at Sunmandeep Vidyapeeth (established
u/s.3 of the UGC Act, 1956 as Deemed to be University) on 17th January 2007
MODE OF ENTRANCE TEST
The AIUGCET 2016 will be of three
hours duration having 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Questions will be
of single best response objective type with four options. Each correct answer
will be awarded one mark.
There shall be no negative
marking for incorrect answers.
The Medium of Examination will be
English.
The Entrance Test shall be of the
Standard Examination and shall cover Three Science Subjects. The subject wise
distribution of marks of MCQs will be as under:-

ELIGIBILITY:
Eligibility Criteria for MBBS/BDS:
No Candidate shall be allowed to
be admitted to the Medical Curriculum of first Bachelor of Medicine and
Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Course and first Bachelor of Dental Surgeon until:
1. He/she shall complete the age
of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the
MBBS/BDS Course;
2. He/she has passed qualifying
examination as under:-
a. The higher secondary examination or the
Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher
Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of
study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other
elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for
English as prescribed by the National Committee on education.
Note: Where the course content is not as prescribed for 10+2
education structure of the National Committee, the candidates will have to
undergo a period of one year preprofessional training before admission to the
medical colleges;
Or
b. The intermediate examination
in science of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examining body
with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in
these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject;
Or
c. The pre-professional/pre-medical
examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the
higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent
examination, The pre-professional/pre-medical examination shall include a
practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a
compulsory subject;
Or
d. The first year of the three
years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and
Biology including a practical test in three subjects provided the examination
is a “University Examination” and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a
level not less than a core course,
Or
e. B.Sc. examination of an Indian
University, provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc examination with not less
than two of the following subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany,
Zoology) and further that he/she passed the earlier qualifying examination with
the following subjects-Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Or
f. Any other examination which,
in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to be intermediate science
examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and
Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English.
3.In case of admission on the
basis of qualifying examination under clause (1) based on merit, candidate for
admission to MBBS/BDS course must have passed in the subjects of Physics,
Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum
of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the
qualifying examination as mentioned in clause (2) of regulation (4) In respect
of candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward
Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in
qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as above.
4. In case of admission on the
basis of competitive entrance examination under clause (2) to (4) of this
regulation, a candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry,
Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks
taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination
as mentioned in clause (2) of regulation (4) and in addition must have come in
the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive entrance examination by
securing not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken
together in the competitive examination. In respect of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or other backwards classes the candidate
must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry
and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination. In addition
must have come in the merit list prepared as a result of such competitive
entrance examination by securing not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry
and Biology taken together in the competitive examination.
5. Provided that a candidate who
has appeared in the qualifying examination the result of which has not been
declared, he may be provisionally permitted to take up the competitive entrance
examination and in case of selection for admission to the MBBS/BDS course, he
shall not be admitted to that course until he fulfils the eligibility criteria
under regulation (4) * The pre-medical course may be conducted either at
Medical College or a Science College. * Marks obtained in Mathematics are not
to be considered for admission to MBBS/BDS Course. * After the 10+2 course is
introduced, the integrated courses should be abolished
Eligibility criteria for B.SC (N) Program
1. The minimum age for admission
shall be 17 years on st 31 December of the year in which admission is sought.
2. Minimum education: a. 10+2
class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with
aggregate of 45% marks form recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE
or other equivalent Board.
3. Student shall be medically
fit.
4. Students appearing in 10+2
examination in Science conducted by National Institute of open School with 45%
marks.
5. Students shall be admitted
once in a year.
Eligibility Criteria for Post Basic B.SC. Nursing:
Candidate belonging to all categories
for admission to the course of Bachelor of Science in Nursing for Trained
Nurses:
1. Should have qualified in
Diploma in Nursing and be a registered Nurse and Mid-wife in the State Nursing
Council accepted by the authority of this University.
2. Physical Fitness Certificate:
Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of
the Institution a certificate of medical fitness form an authorised medical
officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course and
does not suffer from any disability or contagious disease/s.
Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Program:
For B.Pharm:
Minimum qualification for
admission in to first year of Bachelor of Pharmacy course:
A pass in any of the following
examinations with physics, chemistry and Biology or mathematics recognized by
Indian Board/University or its equivalent.
* Intermediate examination in science;
* 10+2 examination (academic
stream) in science;
* Pre-degree examination in
science.
* Any other qualification
approved by the PCI/AICTE as equivalent to any of the above examination.
For Pharm D:
Minimum qualification for
admission to:
a) Pharm. D .Part-I course -a
pass in any of the following examinations.
(1) 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as
compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
Mathematics or Biology:
(2) A pass in D.Pharm course from
an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of
the Pharmacy Act.
(3) Any other qualification
approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above
examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or
before 31st December of the years of admission to the course.
Eligibility Criteria for BPT:
Candidate must have passed Higher
Secondary Certificate Examination under 10+2 education patterns taking with
Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or equivalent examination with 50%
aggregate marks. Eligible candidate should have completed the age 17 years by
31st December of the year of his/her joining the college.
5. CENTERS FOR ENTRANCE TEST:
The AIUGCET - 2016 shall be conducted at the following cities:
* If sufficient number of applicants have not opted for a particular centre, then admission Committee will decide the examination centre and accordingly Examination centre will be allotted to candidates. The address of the Examination centre assigned to a candidate will be given in Hall Ticket. No request for change of centre mentioned in the application form shall be entertained.

6. APPLICATION FORM & SUBMISSION:
A candidate who desires to appear
for All India UG common Entrance Test of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth will require to
submit an application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the
documents in support of application.
Application should be submitted
along with all necessary documents and with DD of Rs. 2600/- in favour of
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara as the cost of an application from

can be obtained (a) From University Office or (b) by downloading till
21-05-2016 From University and is to be submitted along with Demand Draft of
Rs. 2600/- (From Fee + Test Fee) Form can also be submitted online, the details
of which are given on our website. The Application Form obtained from
University Office after 21-05-2016 is to be submitted along with Demand Draft
of Rs. 3100/- (Form Fee + Test Fee + Late Fee) in person at Admission Cell of
the University by 25-05-2016 up to 4.00p.m. ww.sumandeepuniversity.co.in,
Entrance Test Fee:
A For offline:
The Entrance Test Fee is Rs.
2000/-, The fee is payable by cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of
"Sumandeep Vidyapeeth" from Nationalized / Schedule bank, payable at
Piparia or Vadodara. The candidate should write his/her name address and mobile
number on the backside of the demand draft.
The last date of submission of
duly filled application form along with requisite documents and entrance test
fee at the office of Registrar, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth piparia up to 1.00 p.m. on
Dt. 21/05/2016 and (with late fee of Rs. 500/-) up to 4.00 p.m. on Dt.
25/05/2016. It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that
his/her application reaches the office of the Registrar, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth
within the specified time and date.

online can, pay the said amount as per the guideline given on our website.
7. HALL TICKET:
Hall Tickets Carrying photograph
of the candidate shall be issued to the candidates, who are eligible to appear
for the Entrance Test, for this purpose the candidate must submit two of recent
passport size photograph (not more than three month old) along with the
application from. They should write their name on the backside of the
photograph. The Hall Ticket will be dispatched to the Candidate 0nline. Those
who fail to receive the Hall Tickets by Dt. 27/05/2016 can contact the
Admission Office on Phone No. 02668-245267.
The Hall Ticket must be presented
in the Examination Hall for verification of candidate's identity when
instructed by the invigilator to do so and also at the time of counselling. The
Hall Ticket is not transferable.
Candidate must also possess valid
photo ID card during examination.
DECLARATION OF RESULT:
The result of the All India UG
common Entrance Test 2016 will be announced in the form of merit list arranged
according to the marks obtained by the candidates at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth
office and on the website. www.sumandeepuniversity.co.in.
