AMPCK UGCET

Association of minority professional colleges in Karnataka conducts the Entrance Test (UGCET) for Engineering and Medical Courses. Eligible candidates who interested to take admission in B.Tech, MBBS and BDS can apply for the entrance test. 

Important Dates:

Important dates of AMPCK UGCET Medical Entrance Exam expected as per last year’s calendar of events is given below.

Application Process Instructions:

1. Every filled application should be accompanied with the following attach:

a. DD for Rs.2000/- drawn in favour of AMPCK payable at Bangalore

b. Self-attested copy of Mark Sheet of each year of MBBS /BDS

c. Self-attested copy of Provisional Degree Certificate

d. Self-attested Internship Certificate

e. Certificate of the minority/linguistic/religious status in the prescribed form. Filled Application form along with DD of Rs. 2000/- and enclosures should be sent by COURIER OR SPEED POST ONLY to the address mentioned below: NO APPLICATION WOULD BE RECEIVED BY THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE IN PERSON.

2. A set of photocopy of the Application should be retained by the candidates for further clarification, if any.

3. Incomplete applications and applications which do not fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned above will be rejected. No refund of application fee would be made.

4. Request for re-totalling or revaluation of OMR sheets will not be entertained as valuation and the subsequent scoring is on scanning method.

5. AMPCK is not responsible for any postal delay

6. Application forms received after the last date as fixed, are liable for rejection

7. If photographs are not found/mismatched, such applications would be rejected

8. All correspondence should be addressed to the “Secretary”, with due acknowledgement.

The Application should be filled online in the Association’s website. The Last Date for receipt of filled application along with Demand Draft is 13.01.2016. No application would be accepted after the last date as fixed above.

Date of Entrance Test:

The Entrance Test will be conducted on 15^th May, 2016 from 9:30am at three different places viz Bangalore, Mangalore & Raichur.

Physics	9:30 am – 10:30 am
Chemistry	11:00 am to 12 noon
Biology	12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
Maths	2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Entrance Test Instructions:

·      Entrance Test will be for a maximum marks of 200. Actual duration of the test is for 180 minutes. The Entrance Test will be conducted in English.

·      Questions will be multiple choice type, each having four alternatives. Answer sheet is of OPTICAL MARK READER (OMR) type with carbonless copy.

·      Each question carries one mark. Correct answer will be awarded one mark. No mark/s will be awarded for multiple marking. No negative valuation.

Eligibility Criteria:

●    Candidates should have passed II PUE /10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with 50% marks in aggregate in PCB (Those who have appeared and awaiting results of e

●    The candidate should secure 50% of marks i.e. 90 marks out of total marks of 180 in UGCET to secure rank and eligible for counselling.

●    Any other Condition: As stipulated by Competent Authorities

●    Those candidates who seek Admission under Religious /Linguistic category in Medical/Dental such candidates should attach Minority Certificate as reflected in the brochure (Linguistic/Religious) duly signed by the Headmaster of the high school where the candidate studied.

Hall Ticket / Admission Ticket:

Candidates should download the Admission Ticket by entering Mobile Number given in the application form as User Name, Date of Birth as Password from Association’s website and produce the same at the time of Entrance Test.

Centres:

Exam will be held in the following cities Bangalore, Mangalore and Raichur. Detailed Addresses of the examination centre would be made available on the admission tickets.

Answer Key

The Answer Key will be uploaded on 15^th May, 2016. The objections, if any should be sent by POST ONLY addressed to Chief Examiner along with a DD of Rs.100 per Question drawn in favour of AMPCK payable at Bangalore on or before 5:00 pm of 18^th May, 2016 in respect of any Published answer key along with all the supporting documents. *Objections received by the Chief Examiner will be placed before the Expert Committee whose decision will be final in this regard. Amount Received in respect of challenging of key answers is not refundable.

No Objections will be entertained after the deadline indicate above

Result

The results of the Test would be displayed on the Association’s website on 1^st June, 2016. No results would be displayed at the examination centres. Result for re- totalling or revaluation of OMR sheets are not entertained as valuation and subsequent Scoring is on Scanning method. No Ranking would be assigned to those candidates who secured less than 90 marks (out of 180 marks).
