The
Bharatiya Vidyapeeth common entrance test is expected to be conducted on 7th
May, 2016. This exam is conducted by the BVP, a Deemed University for the
admission of the candidates in various courses available in the university
campus as well as the affiliated colleges of the university. Candidates can
check the important dates, procedure to apply, admit card downloading, result
and counselling process in the below section to successfully apply for the
exam.
Eligibility
Criteria:
The
Eligibility Criteria is the set of rules that will be defined by the
examination authority of the Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University. Before
applying for the exam, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria
and follow it carefully. The detailed eligibility criterion is as followed:
Age
Limit:
Candidates
must be 17 years till the 31 December of the year of the BVP CET 2016.
Education
Qualification:
Candidates
must have qualified the 12 or the Indian School certificate examination with
subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
The
Minimum qualifying marks for the General category candidates are 50% and for
the special category candidate are 40%.
Exam
Pattern:
The
next section will comprise of details on the exam pattern. All the candidates
should thoroughly read it and prepare accordingly.
The
exam will contain the multiple objective type questions carrying equal marks
and the exam will be conducted in the Pen Pencil mode so the candidates must
carry the Black Ball Point Pen to answer the questions in the exam.
No
Negative Marking will be there. Each correct answer will carry one mark and the
wrong answer will not deduct any mark.
The
exam will be conducted in the Offline mode only because it is the pen paper
type exam.
The
total duration of the Exam of BVP CET 2016 will be of 3 hours.
The
sections in the exam will be Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
There
will be total 200 questions. Candidates will have to solve all questions which
will be of Multiple Choice (Objective) type.

Candidates
should follow the given steps carefully to apply for the exam. In the profile
management, candidates have to register him/herself by providing the e-mail is
as the username and setting the password for the login. Valid contact numbers
are mandatory to provide.
In
the payment option, candidates have to do the payment either in Online or the
Offline mode.
In
the application form the BVP CET 2016 option, the candidates have to fill their
personal, qualification, Demand Draft detail etc. and then press ‘Save and
Continue’.
Completed application form must be accompanied by CET-2016
fee of Rs. 2,000/-.
If submitted in person the fee can be paid by cash or Demand
Draft if mailed the fee should be paid by Demand Draft of Rs. 2,000/- drawn on
any Nationalised bank payable at Pune, or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd.

1) The Candidate should invariably mention the number of
his application form (as printed on it) and his name on the back of his Demand
Draft.
2) The application sent by mail must be sent by registered
post / speed post / courier.
3) The application must reach either by hand or by mail to
the above address on or before 30th April 2016 by 1700 hrs.
An incomplete application form and an application form which
is not accompanied by a demand draft of the prescribed CET-2016 fee of Rs.
2,000/- will not be entertained and processed. This fee should not be sent by
money order. Please note that this fee is
non-refundable.
This University will not be responsible for any delay or
loss of the Application/Admission Card/Counselling Letter/any other
communication in transit. Such a delay will not be condoned.
The applicant himself has to ascertain from the University
office whether his application has reached to the university office or not.
Admit
Card:
The
Admit Card will be sent to the candidates via post to the specified address of
the candidates. If any candidate does not receive the admit card till before 3
days of the commencement of the BVP CET 2016 Exam then they can download it
from the official website after reporting the issue.
Exam Dates:
The
Exam will be conducted at the different locations in the designates examination
centers at 11:00 hrs on 7th May 2016.

Mode of
Examination:
The
test consists of one paper. The question paper consists of two hundred
objective type question on Physics, Chemistry (50 each) and 100 questions on
Biology. The duration of the test of 3 hrs.
Result:

exam results will be declared on 4th June, 2016. The result will be
available on the official website of the Bharatiya Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
