Manipal
University entrance exam 2016 is a national level entrance exam organized by
Manipal University every year across the nation for the students who want to
take admissions in Manipal University. Manipal University is a deemed
university established in 1956 which is primarily situated in Manipal,
Karnataka. It has also various branches located Sikkim, Jaipur, Mangalore and
Bangalore. It has also 3 overseas branches in Dubai, Malaysia and Antigua. It
has more than 28000 students. Manipal University provides distance education
which helps the students to pursue their education from their home without
getting regular classes. Manipal University entrance exam 2016 will give a
chance to the students who want to make their career in different fields like engineering,
pharmacy, medical, dental, nursing, computer applications, pathology and many
more.
Eligibility criteria:
● Applicant
should pass in 10+2 from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
● Applicant
should have scored 50% marks in qualifying exam.
● Applicant
should have physics and mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2.
Application Form:
The online
application for Indian and overseas candidates has been issued by the
university official site. The last date for receipt of application for various
UG and PG course has been announced. A student applying under General category
for the undergraduate courses.
Applicants
can only apply through online. No other means will be provided. Follow these
simple steps to apply for this exam.
● Go to
the official website of the university, open the admission tab, and click on
the online application link for MUOET (Manipal University Online Entrance
Exam).
● Fill all the important details about yourself
and you’re educational.
● A
photograph and a copy of your signature has to be uploaded.
● Submit
the requisite fee through offline or online.
● Online
mode of fee payment could be use either by debit card/credit card/net banking.
● Offline mode is
through demand draft submitted in any nationalized bank. A
Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- has to be made in favour of Manipal University,
payable at Manipal or Udupi. The details should be filled up in the online
application form and the Demand Draft must be couriered to the following

Exam Pattern:
MUOET
is an online exam. The time duration of this exam will be 2 and a half an hour.
The test consists of 200 multiple choice questions each carrying 200 marks.
These questions will be distributed into 4 sections as Physics (50 questions),
Chemistry (50 questions), Mathematics (70 questions) and English and general
aptitude (30 questions). Each question is of 1 mark and there is no negative
marking in this exam.
Admit Card:
Manipal University Admit card or e- hall ticket would
be downloaded from the official website after 24 hours after booking the online
slot for the exam. Hall ticket includes the details about the test centre, date
and timings of the exam. Hall ticket should not be sent via post. Candidates
should bring hall ticket, photocopy of identity card and original one and two
passport size photograph.
Result:
Result
of Manipal University entrance exam will be declared in the last week of May
2016. Result will be available in the official website of the University. Go to
the link as “Manipal University Result” and put your roll number in it, your
result will be screened in front of you. After that take the print out of it
and keep it safe for counselling and admission process.
Counselling Schedule:
Manipal
University Counselling will be started from first week of June 2016. Candidates
should have to bring the documents like e hall ticket, degree certificate,
certificate of compulsory rotatory internship, mark sheets of professional
exams.
Admission:
After
selecting the candidates from the given slots after counselling, admission
process starts within a week. Students have to bring all the requisite
documents with photocopies and the course fees as given in the website.
