is CUSAT?
Cochin
University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is a government-owned autonomous science and technology university in Cochin, Kerala, India. Founded in 1971, it has three campuses: two in Cochin and one in Kuttanad, Alappuzha, 66 km inland. The university awards degrees in engineering and science subjects at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Nearly 6520 students engage yearly in undergraduate and postgraduate study at the university. CUSAT has found a place among the best universities in the world, in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016-17 with a rank in the 800+ category. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) University rankings CUSAT was placed in the top 30 for the year 2016. The university is placed at fifth rank in India in the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities with a world ranking of 1150.

Pass in the plus two (12th) examination of any state/ national board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any other examination accepted as equivalent by CUSAT with at least 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together and with at least 55% in Mathematics separately.

Naval Architecture and Ship Building (out of 42 seats 15 seats are reserved for Indian Navy)
|
Pass in Plus Two (10+2) examination conducted in Kerala or the examination of any other University/ Board accepted by the University as equivalent thereto in First Class (60% marks) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects of study and with a minimum of 50% marks In Mathematics as well as for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.

Polymer Science and Engineering
|
Pass in Plus Two examination of the State of Kerala with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
put together.

B Tech Marine Engineering (Residential Programme)
|
Pass in the Plus Two Examination of the State of Kerala or any other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks and minimum 50% for Mathematics alone. Should have passed English at 10th or 12th Standards with 50% marks (applicable to SC/ ST candidates also).

Vocational/ Diploma students are not
eligible to apply.

Test Pattern: The test is objective type multiple choice
questions based on Plus Two syllabus.
